About the artist

Ebru Caparti is a Los Angeles-based abstract artist. She is originally from Izmir, Turkey.

She has a degree in Telecommunications Broadcasting and Journalism from University of Florida in Gainesville. With a background in TV and Radio Production and acting, she found her true passion in painting, poetry and writing children’s books–she is the author of  'Atlas the Rabbit'.

 

Ebru is a self-taught artist. She likes to play freely with colors and layering, exploring contradiction and harmony.  Through her art she enters her dreamy world of reality verses fantasy. Her paintings have been exhibited in Art in LA Affair, LA / Miami Art Show, Pancake and Booze Art Show to name a few.

 

She lives in Los Angeles, California.
